I had hoped in this post to be able to share some photos of the Halloween decorations I've been working on for the past few weeks but sadly I have been cursed by the malevolent spirits of Halloween. First my digital camera gave up the ghost, and no amount of Frankensteinian tinkering by my technically gifted hubby was able to resurrect it. I borrowed my sis-in-law's digital thinking I'd take a few quick shots and upload them on my computer, but alas it was not to be. In my epic clumsiness I dropped J's camera and now I'm off to get someone to fix it at my expense.
While I mourn the temporary loss of my picture-taking ability let me share something with you that has kindled a sudden love for my printer, scissors, paper, glue and a certain website...
Go check out: http://ravensblight.com/papertoys.html
It's an AMAZING free site where you can print diabolically cool PDFs and fashion them into fabulously dark toys perfect for Halloween. I'd love to show you the flapping bat or dapper skeleton toys I've put together today, but obviously it's a no-go right now. I guess that will give me some time to put together the piece de resistance: the haunted paper house.
Go, print, glue and be merry! I'll return with a working camera... hopefully soon!
