MY CROCHET OBSESSION IN THREE PARTS

I'm like a woman possessed. I just can't crochet enough! It really has become a sickness, but at least I get some funky clothes out of the deal...
Making use of the remnants of my angora yarn I whipped up a lace-weight version of Jennifer Hansen's Hairpin Lace Neck Scarf which turned out beautifully.

Next I showcased one of my yarn impulse buys by stitching up this free pattern.

This is a fun yarn with a silky wine colored core and a halo of black fuzz, too bad I can't remember the name or manufacturer of this yarn.

And finally I tried to crochet my arm right out of its socket by crocheting Doris Chan's amazing Outta Sight pattern over my 3-day New Year's weekend. I made the duster only knee length and added half-sleeves to customize the look.

Outta Sight can be found in Everyday Crochet along with a host of other flattering patterns.

I used Universal Yarn's Classic Shades for this duster and I really enjoyed watching the colors change subtly as I crocheted along.

And now another weekend is upon me and I must go forth and crochet through the pain!
