IT WENT STRAIGHT TO HER HEAD

I'll keep this short and sweet since I can't think of anything clever to say this evening...

My sister's birthday is next week and procrastination got the better of me so I had to whip up something cute (and useful) really fast!

This first headband was made using a Forked Cluster Stitch (found in my stitch dictionary) and a Crab Stitch (or reverse single crochet) for the border.

The red headband was made using another stitch from the stitch dictionary- the Open Checker stitch. This one went so fast and is MUCH cuter in person.

This last headband took the longest, but it is probably the best one. I used a free pattern: http://ibrakeforyarnpatterns.blogspot.com/2006/04/lacey-not-so-lacey-headband.html but ended up changing it a tad to make picots on the outside edge instead of larger loops.

There you have it! One afternoon and 3 stash skeins later I have a decent birthday gift!
