Please note the "demon-dogs" in the background. I don't think they're very thrilled with the costume.
Gotta love that tail! It waggles when she walks!
And now I've set a bad precedent for hand-made costumes for my niece. Oh well, at least this packing foam, duct tape and paint costume didn't cost me a thing.
...Now on to my newest obsession. I found another great website to feed this new chainmail habit: http://www.mailleartisans.org/ and I've been experimenting with the meagre supply of jump rings I have.
I think I've figured out the Moibus Ring
A Box Chain-type thingy and some large connecting rings. (Obviously I don't know the lingo yet. I'll have to work on that.)
Another Box Chain and Loop creation I made goofing around.
I think this one is called Shaggy Loops. Tutorial from one of the sites I listed in my last post.
A weave called Schirzo. I like it! It looks like a mail version of a crocheted pineapple design!
...And now I'm off to go play with pliers and metal rings...
