ONLY 2 MONTHS OVERDUE

Can't say I had anything to do with this adorable book, but I thought I might contribute to the cuteness a bit with a crocheted bunny puppet and accompanying box. A little birthday gift for one of my nieces.

Then, it was on to my older niece's Halloween costume. This year it was a jelly fish. A child's clear umbrella secured to a bike helmet makes a good bell:

...and some glow-in-the-dark puffy paint worked wonderfully to make some interesting designs on the top.

I used glow-in-the-dark plastic lacing as the long tendrils and the packing plastic made some fine tentacles once I crocheted it into spirals.

But to make things really special I installed three sets of battery-operated lights.

I'm honestly not being conceited here, but my niece was the talk of the neighborhood as she was out trick-or-treating!

I would have much more to share here, but the majority of my work is top-secret Christmas doings and will have to wait until the New Year. Until then...
