Apologies are overrated. Pictures are better:
Xmas Project #1: Tacky light wreath
Yes, very tacky, but possibly cool in a so-awful-its-cool kind of way. Anyway I like it.
Xmas Gift #1 Hat for dad. Spun, dyed and crocheted by yours truly.
Gift #2 Hat for mom. Spun, dyed and dyed and dyed and dyed some more and then crocheted. I'm pretty sure I visited every shade of pukey orange and baby-poop brown to get to this color. All for you ma!
Gift #3 The in-laws. Crazies luggage tags you've ever seen! Can't take credit for this idea, though; got it from Ready Made magazine. The ties are vintage grandpa, straight out of the 70s.
Gift #4 Eldest niece. This kiddo is ob-freaking-sessed with dinosaurs so I faked my way through a quickie quilt.
#5 Same niece, different obsession. Orcas. Enter the orca sweater.
The back. Replete with tail and fin.
#6 Oldest nephew. Kid likes brown. He gets a monkey sweater.
Cheeky little monkey!
#7 Second oldest niece. Kitty sweater so she matches the one at home.
I have the urge to write several bad puns here. I'll refrain.
#8 Second oldest nephew loves lions. No brainer.
Are we starting to see a pattern here?
#9 What are we at? Oh yes, third oldest nephew. Tiger. Or possibly Tigger.
Maybe Tony the Tiger.
#10 Fourth oldest nephew. Poor kid, I was really flagging by this time and I couldn't come up with anything more than a dog. Or some other nondescript brown animal.
You don't need to tell me what the tail looks like. I already know.
#11 Third and final niece. Pink bunny. What else?
Bunny butt.
And then finally, FINALLY I did something for myself with this awesome pattern: Juliana Wrap.
So as you can see I've been a mite busy. Just a wee bit.
