WINTER UPDATE

Now that Christmas is over I've decided to be nice and selfish and make stuff just for me. What a nice change!
It's hard to see in this picture, but this is the most beautiful hand-dyed yarn (not mine, unfortunately) with real silver spun into the yarn. For such a beautiful yarn I had to find a beautiful pattern. This Elise Shawl by Evan Plevinski is perfect.

With the leftovers I made a simple chain scarf, which also turned out beautifully.

After that I was able to play with a exquisitely soft yarn I got as a gift from Art Fiend. With this pattern by Berniolies Designs I was able to make something as exquisite as the yarn.

And finally, my absolute favorite for this winter season the Aspenglow Jacket by Hannah Cuviello which is in the Interweave Crochet 2010 winter edition.

I love the fact that this pattern is Tunisian crochet, has cables, and is nicely fitted. I also love the fact that my Sculpy buttons worked out so well.
